Therapeutic Activity Programming
Our program consists of a full day of purposeful therapeutic activity programming.  Our activity programs meet the social, physical, creative, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our clients.  Our Activity Coordinator creates three separate monthly calendars for three groups based on each individual’s level of functioning.  Each month we have a themed party, special socials and musical entertainment. 

A Typical Day

6:30am-Breakfast, Coffee & Tea Social/Independent Activity

9:00am-Today in History
     (a look back on famous events that occurred that day)

9:30am-Current Events/Discussion
      (daily local, world news)

10:00am-All Staff Stand Up Meeting
     (to provide an in-depth look at each client’s needs for the day on a daily basis)

10:00 am -Arts & Crafts
     (painting, building models, creative decorating, etc.)

12:00pm-Lunch

1:00pm-Sittercise/ROM
     (low impact aerobic chair exercises)

1:45 pm -Balloon Volleyball
     (promotion of eye hand coordination and Range of Motion)

2:15-Who’s Who Trivia/Bowling For Fun/Manicures, Relaxation
     (group programming)

3:00pm-Snack & Social

3:30pm-6:30 pm - Small Group Activity/
Independent Activity/Departure

We have two friendly and very personable cats, a beautiful well maintained aquarium, as well as various plants placed around the facility, to promote a holistic atmosphere, while bringing together nature, pets, and children as promoted through the Eden Alternative.
